This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled in the Celestial Cats mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy applies to Celestial Cats, developed and operated by Jason Schmid trading as ZeroGravity Studios (ABN: 22 516 050 152).

We believe in fundamental user privacy. Celestial Cats is designed as an offline-first application that stores your data locally on your device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not operate external user account servers for Celestial Cats.

• We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address to use the App.
• We do not collect, upload, or sell your personal information, cat profiles, birth dates, or custom inputs to any external servers or third parties.

2. On-Device Local Data Storage

All data you enter into Celestial Cats remains stored locally on your mobile device using encrypted device storage and local filesystem storage. This includes:

• Explorer & Cat Profiles: Custom names, birth dates, adoption dates, personalities, and zodiac configurations.
• Cat Photos: Images selected or taken for cat profiles are saved exclusively within the App's local filesystem directory on your device.
• Astrology & Reading Caches: Generated daily horoscopes, natal charts, and notification reveal histories.
• App Preferences: Local settings, theme preferences, and developer settings.

3. Account & Data Deletion Request (Google Play & App Store Compliance)

Celestial Cats respects your fundamental right to control and delete your personal data. Because the App operates with a privacy-first, local-only architecture, all data resides strictly on your physical device rather than remote cloud servers.

How to Delete Your Data:

• In-App Immediate Deletion: You can permanently erase all locally stored cat profiles, photo files, natal charts, reading histories, and preferences at any time directly within the App by navigating to: Settings → Delete Data
• Uninstalling the App: Because no data is transmitted to or stored on external servers, uninstalling Celestial Cats from your mobile device automatically and permanently purges all local app data, saved photo files, and cached records from your device filesystem.
• External Deletion Enquiries: If you have uninstalled the App or have questions regarding data storage and removal, you do not need to reinstall the App. You can submit a deletion inquiry by contacting us via our support channel: support@zerogravity-studios.com.

4. In-App Purchases & Billing Information

Celestial Cats offers an optional one-time Premium Tier purchase.

• All payment processing and financial transactions are handled directly and securely by Apple (via the iOS App Store) or Google (via the Google Play Store).
• We do not collect, process, or store your credit card numbers, banking details, or financial credentials.
• Your purchase entitlement is linked strictly to your Apple ID or Google Account and can be restored anytime in the App via Restore Purchases.

5. Third-Party Advertising & Analytics Disclosures

Celestial Cats integrates third-party advertising services, specifically Google AdMob, to display advertisements (including optional rewarded ads for unlocking horoscopes).

• Data Collection by Ad Networks: Third-party ad networks such as Google AdMob may collect and process certain technical data from your mobile device, including unique advertising identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or Apple Identifier for Advertisers / IDFA), IP addresses, location data, and app usage activity to serve relevant advertisements.
• Personalized & Non-Personalized Ads: Depending on your consent preferences and device settings, third-party ad providers may serve either personalized ads (tailored to your interests based on cross-app tracking) or non-personalized (contextual) ads. Optional rewarded ads are delivered to allow users to temporarily unlock select in-app horoscope features.

• Opting Out of Personalized Ads: You can manage or disable personalized ad tracking at any time through your device settings:
  • iOS: Navigate to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to turn off App Tracking Transparency for Celestial Cats, or Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
  • Android: Navigate to Settings → Google → Ads and tap "Delete advertising ID" or "Reset advertising ID".

6. Children's Privacy & COPPA/GDPR Compliance

Celestial Cats is designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the European Union). In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• All primary app data (cat profiles, horoscopes, natal charts) remains strictly stored on the user's local device and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Ad network integrations are configured to request non-personalized, contextual advertisements for users flagged as children or where age restriction flags apply, ensuring no behavioral profiling occurs for minor users.
